The National Museum of Industrial History continues its 2021 Meet the Manufacturer Virtual Lecture Series on Monday, May 31st at 7pm with Shelly Slotter McWilliams, President of Lehigh Valley Plastics. Headquartered in Bethlehem, PA, the company is a state-of-the-art machine shop, fabricator and distributor of advanced plastic components and materials.
Lehigh Valley Plastics is a state-of-the-art plastics machining facility located in Bethlehem, PA. They manufacture plastic components for a multitude of applications and industries, including heavy equipment, agriculture, food and beverage, transportation, and medical to name a few. LVP takes great pride in offering the highest quality parts to their customers, whether complex or straightforward. Utilizing its 50 years of process experience, LVP provides cost-effective solutions to some of the most challenging issues its customers face. Polymers are replacing traditional materials to maximize efficiencies, offering energy savings due to weight reduction and increased capacity.
Shelly McWilliams joined Lehigh Valley Plastics in June 2020. Prior to joining LVP, Shelly managed multiple business units for Brooks Instrument (an ITW Company), manufacturers of flow measuring and control instruments in Hatfield, PA. Prior to that she spent 9 years at Air Products, managing onsite facilities dedicated to specific customers/customer groups around North America. She earned her MBA from Darden School of Business (University of Virginia) and undergraduate degree from Bucknell University.
