The National Museum of Industrial History is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that relies on a variety of funding sources.
Your support helps us preserve local and national industrial history and offer engaging programs that tell the stories of the people, machines, ideas and natural resources that made a global impact on American history. Your gift provides a resource for regional schools, offering access to STEAM, social history and literacy learning opportunities for the young people in our community. Support for the museum helps engage a multi-generational audience forging a connection between the men and women who spent their lives working in local industries like Bethlehem Steel and area youth who are too young to have personally seen the flames of the Blast Furnaces when they were in operation.
We thank our members and donors for their generosity and enthusiasm! Together, we can continue to engage and inspire future generations of inventors and entrepreneurs.
Annual Fund
Your 100% tax-deductible gift supports all of NMIH’s activities. From young reader’s literacy programs to documentary film series and unique exhibits to industry forums, your gift allows NMIH to provide a place for learning, exploration and celebration to the region.
Leadership Society
Join an exceptional group of patrons whose unrestricted support helps the Museum address areas of greatest need. In recognition of their generosity, Leadership Society members are invited to engage with the Museum mission through exclusive experiences and special access to the collections.
Future Innovator’s Fund
Through a contribution to the Future Innovators Fund, donors can help students engage with science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) and social history learning opportunities.
Adopt an Artifact
Help bring American industrial history to life – adopt an artifact or interactive today and preserve a piece of history for future generations.
Corporate Partnerships
Support from the business community is crucial for the National Museum of Industrial History to implement its mission. Whether choosing an annual corporate membership or sponsoring an exhibit, film series, school group, special event or free admission day, the museum provides excellent opportunities for our sponsors to make a significant impact and receive community recognition while visibly aligning themselves with the area’s first Smithsonian affiliate.
