Join us during Free Family Sunday at the Museum for a drop-in program to learn about Fritz Medal recipient Herbert Hoover and the Hoover Dam in conjunction with our exhibition The Works of a Mechanical Genius: The Legacy of John Fritz. We will read a story about the Hoover Dam, learn how Herbert Hoover won the Fritz Medal, which has often been described as the “Nobel prize for engineering,” and do a hands-on S.T.E.A.M. dam building activity. Designed for all ages.

This program is included with admission. On Free Family Sundays, youth 12 and under receive free admission when accompanied by an adult.
