Girl Scout Program: Rosie the Riveter Day

March 21, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Brownies (2nd and 3rd)

Rosie Day will be celebrated at The National Museum of Industrial History on March 21st as part of our month-long commitment to unearthing the stories of women inventors in our collection. Inspired by the women inventors of our past, Girl Scouts will put on their own inventor’s hats and discover how the inventing process works. Together we will consider real world problems, experiment with solutions, and get creative designing solutions. Completion of the Girl Scout activity that day will earn Juniors an inventor badge.
Troops or individual scouts can reserve a spot for this program by emailing Amber Emory, Director of Education and Community Partnerships, at [email protected]
