June 14 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
June 13th & 14th, 2020 10-11AM
Juniors (4th and 5th)
Get ready to be transported back in time to 1876 at the National Museum of Industrial History’s World’s Fair Weekend, an exciting time for women to showcase their creative talents, industrial capabilities, and overall ingenuity!! Become an exhibitor in the Women’s Pavilion, learn about the first woman engineer, or join Susan B. Anthony as a women’s rights activist. Girl Scouts will use artifacts in the museum as inspiration to learn about and recreate characters from the time period to earn their Playing the Past badge.
Troops or individual scouts can reserve a spot for this program by emailing Amber Emory, Director of Education and Community Partnerships, at firstname.lastname@example.org
